What age do you wish to retire? The normal age in the UK is 65, but I would like to retire at least 5 years before that I think.

It is the same official age of retirement in my country,at age 65 one should be out of active service but it better one retire before them to start a little business of one's own to fixed things up in case one is no longer physically strong to run a start-up,then there was already a business to fall back on.So yes I think quitting at age 60 is fair enough.

The retirement age in my country officially is 65 years as well but I will think one should have retire like 10 years back to start one business, my uncle is suffering now after years of retirement because the pensions are not forth coming so it good one retire a bit early use his or her savings to start up a lucrative business.

I'm happy to retire at the normal rate, which is 65. I just want to be able to be comfy after I have retired. However, I can still imagine me doing volunteering work.

Actually I want to retire as early as possible as long as I am young enough to enjoy the dreams and leisure in life , no worries, no boss , no problem solving all are just hassle free and happiness only. So if I am the one to ask what is my ideal age to retire my answer would be probably 45. I am hoping that I am retired by that age and having my own business, in the future. Thank you

The mandatory retirement for employees in my country is 65 years old. However, I'm planning on retiring at a much earlier age in order to enjoy life to the fullest. And what age is that? I'm thinking 50 years old. I want to retire when I'm still strong. I want to travel the world, see new and exciting places. And I can do that if I retire early.
I'm already 32 years old and I still don't have a fortune to brag about. However, I do think that I'll be able to achieve financial success in the near future. I'm currently working on several different business ventures and I hope that all of them would turn out to be successful.

I'm of the opinion that the retirement age for people in most countries should really understand that the case of the age for one to retire should be 60 years or in some countries 55 years. The reason that I am saying that is that it can give those ones that are retiring the time to adjust and plan for that. The reason that I am saying this is that when people retire at old age, you get to suffer more which is not good.

I plan to retire at a young age by doing my best to earning more money, saving more, and investing more. Every day I'm studying and learning on how to invest wisely and earn more streams of income. I hope to retire at least at age 35-40.

I don't plan really to retire early. I think the age will have increased to 70 or so by the time I am approaching the retirement phase, I would probably like to retire anytime from 60 on wards, but that will depend on funds and if I want to stay in the job I have at the time.

In the olden days, the standard retirement age here was 65. But now there is no more standard although government offices still follow the age 65. Some private companies retire their employees at age 55. That's too young to stop working. My uncle who used to reside in the US was working until he was past 80 years old and he only retired when he had to attend to the construction of a vacation house in the Philippines. I retired when I was 61 although I still feel young, willing and able to work. However, I am now enjoying the opportunity of retirement since I have saved enough for my retirement.
