This type tends to put blame on government interference in regards to economic slow-downs. For instance, they claimed The Great Depression was a result of government favoring certain industries - causing bubbles there.

A somewhat common theme from this branch of economics is arguments towards systems such as communism and socialism. I don't really agree with, or see socialism working. Therefore it's not an approach I favour a great deal personally.

Libertarians tend to favor no government, though. However, though, it shares commonality with socialism, Communism in that it's cynical of status-quo economics (as in the US).

I think government intervention either via private or military industries in unavoidable. I mean, there is no chance a Ron Paul type would gain power (anywhere), and Trump isn't a libertarian.
