My wife is an accountant by profession and she's tasked to manage our financial accounts which is under my name. Basically she keeps track of my spending by regularly checking my bank accounts and I need her approval whenever I'm going to spend money. I know it's a little unfair because I don't meddle with her savings or accounts but in our situation it's better that she always keeps me in check.
In the past I was solely managing my finances and what happened was I got in trouble with some credit card companies until my debt doubled, so after paying my debt and a very long fight with my wife due to my over spending we settled on a check and balance system where she would be holding my credit cards, checks, and savings account and I'll be holding my debit and atm cards where we put our weekly budget. By doing this we save a lot by limiting our expenses.

Don't you think that having to see things go such way when it comes to your family finances that she might grew suspicious of you and how you do things if you cannot trust her with your money? Getting married to a woman in the first place means that you are ready to be one and your fund isn't a different variable in the union.

I completely agree with you, once you are ready to go to the extent of getting married to someone, you should be able to afford her the opportunity to handle your finances or at least she would have access to it but still needs your final approval before making use of the funds.
Taking her completely away from having access to your money is going to be a serious problem in damaging the trust in the relationship and such thing isn't healthy for one's family because it might lead to divorce.

My wife is fortunately the only one who I would trust 100% in this life with my money. You should remember that I married her myself in the first place, so my money is secondary to her. She comes first and how good she is makes me not to worry about giving her the management of my money to be under her.
She is the kind of person that would give me her every penny when I needs it, so when I have someone willing to give me all her money, why would I find if difficult to hand over my account management to her?

You are such a lucky fellow because such woman are very hard to come by these days. The kind of person that floods the society now are too materialistic and eyes fixated on money that should one make the mistake of putting them in charge of fund management, it wouldn't take long and the individual would be bankrupt already.
