When i will have the chance to earn more money, i will try to figure out what are those needs that my family need to have and then try to buy it slowly so it will be complete. Once the needs of the family have been fulfilled, then its time to do the budgeting. First of all you have to know your needs and your savings. In that way when the need arises you have something to use.

As much as we all want to have some money on the side(savings), a significant positive change in annual earnings would definitely cause an increase in expenditure. We are just wired in that manner. If you have been promising your wife you'll get her that stone(diamond) she has always wanted, it is most probable that with a rise in your yearly salary, you will deliver. For me, it is possible to stick with my current budget. This is because I don't have a family of my own and as a result, I have not made promises to anyone but myself. It may be much harder for those of us who are breadwinners in their families.

I know we humans are prone to increasing our shopping power with more money that is why one will still look for money even with an increased income.we operate the principle of more income more shopping which is wrong and irresponsible. I believe we should have more savings despite our income. Saving more from our income is the best bet.

I also do that. I have a small business and also a student. I put the needs of my family first before my own needs. I always make sure there is a portion from my income that is saved for something else more important than my "wants"
