I already been to university back two years ago, And i'm lucky that I'm only 10mins away from home but that was back in Australia.
I'm thinking to go back but not on my location, and I know as a student at a university you do not have to pay council tax, however I think I will have to.
Anyway my question is, is there any way around paying it? Or do you have to pay it even that it's been rented out. It's hard if you have no funding unless uni does fund something, but in most cases they don't. saying that I was on the course, so could I not just use those and say I am still a student at university?
Is there any way for them to check this? Could I ask the uni to keep all of my information confidential?
