I am not sure if you guys will agree with me, but when it comes to investing in the stock market, I don't go for blue chips. Why? It is because you'll have fewer shares for a significant amount of money. Just imagine if you are planning to buy Google stocks, you need $10,000 only to have ten of them which is crazy.

What I would go for are stocks that have prices of less than $10. Just make sure that you do your research and hold on to the shares for ten years or more. Your $10 stock might be worth more than $100 after 15-20 years. So if we do the math and say you bought $10,000 worth of shares for $10 par value, and it increased to $100 par value after ten years. You just made a profit of a whopping $90,000, sweet!

I believe one should do a thorough research before engaging in any investment, investment should yields fruits or interest and as such one should work towards having an investment that's profitable. Gambling and ponzi scheme are no investment because there are bound to fail investment in more tangible things.

I learnt through the hard way that gambling is never a good form of investment and it was a painful experience before I got to find out. Also, the world of Ponzi scheme didn't affect me that much, but I know some people that had some ugly experience from it. So, it is good to have a good research before investing on anything.

Personally, I feel that stock market is not for everyone. Any newbie with minimal experience can end up in making investments in the wrong direction. If you have enough funds then go for authentic, prestigious high-value stocks which can bring positive returns for sure. Otherwise, it is wise to take advice from the stock market experts. Proper research and planning are mandatory for earning a considerable profit.

The rule if thumb is never assume that it's true when it is too good to be true. The bigger the earnings, the more you should be doubtful of the investment scheme. So many are being fooled because they are greedy hence they believed that their invested money can earn so much.

Researching and learning the investment is a first to be sure that your money is in good hands. Scams are everywhere and the method they use are very enticing, so awareness is really the key in choosing an investment.
